Biography

GambaJo's real name ist Darius and he was born in 1978 in a smal town in poland. If he was 9 years old, he moved with his parents to germany close to cologne.

In the early '90s he started to hear electronic dance music. His first cd was Energy 52 - Café del Mar (Eye Q Records). He recorded every week the famous radio show “RPR Maximal” with Tillmann Uhrmacher (at this time on cassettes). When he was old enough, he started to visit clubs and other partys. Since 2002 he was regular on big events in the netherlands. In all this time he collected cds with many special tracks, which often become classics. In 2004 he become a moderator for events in one of the famoused trance-comunitys (www.tranceforum.info) in germany.

Till 2005 he was “only” a visitor with love for music. It was late, but in 2005 he decided to buy dj-equipment. Since then he played gest-mixes for some internet-radio-stations and in some clubs (globalbeats.fm, Tranceparency, Trancemission, Feel Trance, The Elements of Trance, ...). His style is difficult to describe. It's a mix between uplifting-, tech- and hardtrance. (the real trance, not the cheesy commercial stuff)
